Sales Associate

We are looking for a self-starter, and highly ambitious hustler to accelerate our growth and bring in more clients (financial institutions, corporates, SMEs etc) to the top of the funnel. We are hiring in both Singapore and the Philippines.

As a dedicated and independent Sales Associate, you are the first point of contact with clients of all business types and across all industries, driving engaging conversations and laying the foundations for their Sustainability journey with STACS ESGpedia. You will be responsible for managing the pre-sales consultative selling process from initial contact, lead qualification to successful sales closure. As a trusted advisor to the clients, you will play a fundamental role in helping the clients achieve their goals whilst ensuring a smooth sales process.

Job Responsibilities
  • APAC-focused role, in ASEAN and Greater China
  • Manage the pre-sales process via various channels: calls, emails, chat, etc
  • Introduce and present STACS ESGpedia’s services and value proposition in a pitch to potential clients
  • Understanding the client’s needs and providing thorough advice about the markets, regulations, and sustainability journey
  • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads who have contacted us via our website, or other channels into Sales Qualified Leads
  • Drive high activity volumes – make daily calls and meetings
  • Lead demand generation initiatives from ideation to execution
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Travel is expected for business meetings and close sales
  • Represent STACS ESGpedia with top-level professionalism
  • Drive STACS ESGpedia growth by over-achieving KPIs and milestones
Ideal Candidate
  • Attractive additional remuneration on a commission-basis.
  • A self-starter and confident engaging with both executive and senior level external stakeholders
  • High work ethic and customer-centricity with a buoyant and amiable personality. Ability to manage multiple clients while exceeding client expectations
  • Few years of corporate exposure and practical sales experience
  • Keen interest in ESG data, technology and familiarity with ESG or/and Sustainability developments would be highly preferred
  • You will need to be agile in every conversation and curious in your questioning to understand challenges, requirements, and opportunities
  • Ability to maintain high volume of daily calls and meetings
  • Positive attitude with a thirst to learn – proactive, unafraid of exploring and voicing out opinions, etc
Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree preferably specializing in Business/Banking/Computer Science related disciplines with at least 1 year of relevant experience in sales, sales support, business development etc
  • Fluent in English and native language with excellent oral communication skills enabling effective communication with clients
  • Experience with using sales tools, technologies and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Words and Excel
